Yet another glorious Sunday saw the U12 boys arrive at Cheltenham for their second festival of the year.

What with Remembrance day and other commitments we had the bear minimum of players - no subs, so we knew it was going to be a hard afternoon.

Our first game was against Cheltenham U11A. A single goal for Wotton was scored by Philip Gunton and some great defending particularly by Tom Cox saw a final score of 1 -1.

Dursley were our next opponents and though we had several opportunities to score, we couldn't quite get the ball in the goal.
Dylan Armstrong, in his first match, worked tirelessly around the pitch, Alistair Dickson stood solid in defense while some decisive goalkeeping by Liam Baker kept the game scoreless.

Next up we faced Lansdown. We were feeling under pressure when Lansdown went a goal up. Never giving up the boys battled to get a goal with Alex Gunton appearing all over the pitch but it was the quick feet of Jamie Hirst who finally beat the Lansdown defense and got the equilising goal. Final result 1 -1.

Cheltenham U11B were next and another tight score, 1 - 0 to them. Despite constantly pushing to get a goal their defence was hard to break through.

Finally we had to play Gloucester whose well drilled moves and quick footwork was too good a performance for us to match. They won 3 - 0.
