Massive congratulations to Men’s 1st XI player Scott Patterson who has been named in the Scottish Hockey ‘Aspiring Boys’ (AKA u18s) Training Squad for 2024/25
Having represented Scotland in various European youth competitions over the last few years, its great news that Scott has retained his place in the squad for the coming season.
As per Scottish Hockey:
“It’s an exciting year ahead for our National pathway squads, with all squads working towards selection for a 4 Nations at Easter. For our aspiring squads, they have a big year ahead as they prepare for their respective European U18 competitions in the summer.”
Scottish Hockey Performance Pathway Lead, Kelly Fillingham, added:
‘It’s a great time for a young player to be involved in the National squads. With so many training and high level competitive opportunities throughout the cycle, we’ve built a programme for our young players that’s really going to stretch and challenge them. I’m looking forward to seeing our young players thriving over this next cycle and really showing what they are capable of at this level.’
Congratulations again Scott and good luck in the upcoming international fixtures later this year!
