We're delighted to announce that we have appointed Matt Fairburn as our Men's Head Coach for 2012/13. Matt is a Level 2 coach, currently playing for Cheltenham HC in the EHL (National League). He came through the ranks at Gloucester City HC and has represented England U21s, including the World Junior Cup in 2005. Matt also has playing experience for Devizes, Guildford and Stourport, the latter two both at National League level. Matt has coached at Lansdown HC & Devizes HC and spent several years coaching at Wycliffe College. As well as our coaching commitments, Matt will be taking up a position as a hockey professional at Cheltenham College in September.

The ladies and badgers will continue their association with the highly regarded Andy Bethell who was so instrumental in coaching those two teams to further success last year. We are equally delighted that Andy - a very experienced level 2 coach - has agreed to work with the club again this season. Fear not, goalkeepers have not been forgotten and the committee will confirm their approach in this regard through August - so watch this space for more news.
