I want to return to our classic three-pronged approach to playing hockey:
1. Focus on attacks up the side, and use the the centre of the pitch to transfer the ball, and keep possession.
2. The heart of a good defence is a solid core in the middle of the pitch, with the centre backs and centre midfield picking up any attacks coming through the centre.
3. The secret to good passing will be making sure that everyone creates space and options for the person to pass to.
We will work this on Tuesday at training. Be ready!
