It’s the last full weekend of the season (ladies play until 2 April) and some particularly BIG games ahead for both Ladies 1s and Mens 3s, for which support from across the whole club would be welcomed…

*** Don’t forget all of the upcoming events, detailed on the news section of the website. Race night is next Sat (19 Mar) and Annual Dinner tickets (16 Apr) are selling fast so don’t miss out!***

Saturday – at the Field of Dreams:

1030: Today’s the day for the Ladies 1s. They need to win against BAC to keep their hopes of survival in North Division alive. Its been a long hard season but they’ve stuck to the task admirably. Why not lend your support for the #greatescape? Bring the noise. #bluearmy

1200: Ladies 2s take on local rivals Dursley, who did them a favour by beating Wick last week and (with a 6-0w away in our game) seal our girls promotion spot. VMC and the girls will not want to take their foot off the gas though and will be looking to improve on the draw between the 2 teams last time out.

1400: Mens 1s – officially crowned champions last week - take on Whitchurch. Like L2, Hammond and the boys will not want to cruise over the line but finish off an amazing season in style. Looking forward to seeing the line up :)

1530: Then it’s the BIG GAME of the day with the Mens 3s taking on Ross. The equation is simple: win and we secure the league on goal difference over nearest rivals Lansdown B. What a season this incredibly talented team has had, one last big push takes them over the line. Do try to get down and support them if you can. Good luck Benjy and team!

Saturday – on the road:
Badgers take on Stroud
M2 face (another) trip over the bridge looking to secure a top 5 finish with a win over Cardiff Uni B
M4 look to follow up their win over Yate with another local derby, this time away to Stroud.

Sunday – at the Field of Dreams:
1230 Vixens take on Chippenham
1345 L1 complete their weekend double header with this re-arranged league game v OBs

Sunday - on the road:
Our u10 Boys A and B are in action in the morning in the County Cup tournament at Dean Close. Some real talent across these two teams and only us and Cheltenham have more than one team so another feather in the club’s cap!

What a weekend, what a club – GOOD LUCK everybody!
