Happy New Year to you all!

Dear Members,

Happy New Year to you all!

A few things to note this weekend please...

Saturday 17th January – Alternative Parking
The final schools cross country event is taking place this Saturday morning which means parking at the school/sports hall will once again be at a premium. WCSF have asked us that ALL players and supporters for the
• 1030 (Ladies 1s) and
• 1200 (Badgers) home games
this Saturday should park over at the New Rd entrance. (oppos have been informed) The gate will be open at that side for this purpose. Please can you ensure that no mud is tracked on to the pitch – suggest changing into your Astros pitchside...

Its very important that we comply with this request from our ‘landlords’, so please can everyone take note. Captains for away matches that might be effected may want to consider an alternative meet/departure point for this Saturday only.

Sunday, 18 January Tree planting - 10 am - Wotton Community Sports Field
WCSF have thanked us for all of our assistance in previous tree planting efforts. Its happening again this Sunday morning
Park at KLB; head through the gate, past the new pitches and turn right towards the New Road fields.
Bring spades, boots, gloves.
We will be planting hawthorn, blackthorn, field maple, silver birch, oak, dog rose, wild privet, hazel and hornbeam.
Everybody welcome and a good chance to ‘put something back’ and plant a legacy for years to come!
