As briefly trailed in my last email update…our umpiring friends at HGWHUA (Hereford Gloucestershire & Worcestershire Hockey Umpires Association) have kindly offered to run a session for us on the new rules in place for the 2015-16 season. As you may have picked up from social media, press and even TV coverage of the EuroHockey on the BBC this is arguably the largest number of rule changes for a generation so well worth attending.

ALL players, coaches and interested parties are welcome.

ANY PQ, LEVEL 1 (or above!) UMPIRES FROM THE CLUB ARE STRONGLY URGED TO ATTEND.

But of course viewing in isolation will be no substitute for being able to interact with these top quality umpires and be able to ask questions. So I look forward to seeing a large cross section of the membership there…
