Part of the glue that binds our fantastic club together are the social and fundraising events that we run each year. With this in mind, please note the upcoming events over the next few weeks and months. I’d love to see a large amount of playing members, supporters and parents of younger members supporting these activities!

Saturday 14th March: -
Race Night, Kingswood Village Hall. 7.45pm
All senior XI players and guests along with parents of our junior members are actively encouraged to come along to this fun social, fundraising event.
You can ‘own’ a horse with team-mates and bet on the tote on each race.
Tickets are £5 each which includes entry on the night and ownership of a horse in one of the races; in the final race horses will be auctioned off.
Tickets will be available from team reps/managers at training and games in the coming weeks, so get your fivers ready.
There will be 8 races broadcast on the big screen for us all to bet on; with a bottle of wine for the winning ‘owner’ in each race, winning tickets from the Tote on each race will receive a % of the pot on each race. The place pot for each race will be 50% of the money placed on each race with the other 50% going into club funds.
There is a cash bar at the Village Hall which will be available to us on the night, so it should be a good night.

Sunday 22nd March: -
Junior End of Season Social/Awards, Cattle Country 4-30-6.30pm
Open to all players from u8/u10/u12s, this end of season event for our junior players is a chance for them to let off some steam and for us to hand out some silverware to those deserving players.
More details to follow, but in the meantime – save the date! There is usually cake involved at some stage...:)

Annual Dinner Dance & Awards 2015, Tortworth Court Hotel 1830 onwards
I would refer members to the dedicated email recently sent out on this, our BIG end of season event. Take up has been good with 85+ tickets sold within 2 weeks of sales going live, so if you haven’t got yours yet – what are you waiting for? Dont miss out!
The event is open to senior XI players and their partners, and Badgers/Vixens and their parents. Parents of our junior members are also very welcome to attend.
