Due to our continued expansion and the increase in membership, this year’s Dinner-Dance & Awards is being held at an exciting new venue for us – Tortworth Court Hotel. This is the club’s BIG annual event, where we come together to celebrate another successful season.

The dinner is open to:

All current senior members & their partners (incl players u18 who play senior hockey) *
Club umpires, supporters, parents, volunteers and other guests of the committee
Badgers & Vixens Players aged 13+ (note-MUST be accompanied by a parent)*
Parents of junior (u8/10/12s) players +

* - Any players under 16 must be accompanied by a parent who will be responsible for them.
* - Players aged 16-18 who regularly play for a Senior XI must be accompanied by a parent OR nominated adult (e.g. team-mate) who will be responsible for them.
+ - Further details of separate junior end of season event(s) will follow in due course... (last year it was Cattle Country followed by presentations of their awards – and cake!)

The evening consists of a drinks reception (with complimentary Bucks Fizz on arrival) from 1830 in the Atrium Bistro Bar, 3 course dinner in the Westminster Suite with private bar from 1930, followed by the presentation of player awards and disco in the same area. Dress code for the event is 'Black Tie'. The cash bar is available until 0030 and the event finishes at 0100.

The event has been an oversubscribed sell out in recent years and though we have a much greater capacity at our new venue we are still expecting demand to be very high so, getting your tickets early is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.

Ticket prices are: £35 Adult and £30 student/unwaged

How to Buy your Tickets
Tickets can be purchased via our website in the same simple way you paid for subs and match fees; This will be a ticketless event this year, so your gocardless receipt via Pitchero is confirmation of your attendance.

Visit/log in to www.pitchero.com/clubs/wottonunderedgehockeyclub and click on the ‘Payments’ tab, scroll down to “other payments”, click on the relevant ticket and select your menu options – easy!
If buying multiple tickets you need to click on the relevant product again, and insert the other attendees name and menu choices when prompted.

The committee acknowledges that ticket prices are higher this year but when the new venue is factored in I hope members will find this reasonable and value for money. After dinner coffee is not included but can be purchased on the night. Prices have been kept as low as possible and only cover the costs of the evening, BUT we do run a raffle on the night so if anybody has any worthy prizes they can donate then do let me, Georgie, Taiters or Cathy know.

Overnight Stay at Tortworth Court
For those who wanted to stay overnight at the venue, Tortworth Court have offered us a preferential room rate. This is £89 per room B&B based on double occupancy, to pre-book at this rate you need to phone the hotel and quote the ref ‘wottonhockey’.
