Yes, its that time of year again! The countdown to the end of season dinner begins... and tickets are NOW on sale.

This is the club’s BIG annual event, where we come together to celebrate another successful season. Based on feedback from members we are trialling a new venue this year: the Grand Hall at The Barn @ Berkeley http://www.thebarnatberkeley.co.uk/ ; we will continue to review the venue year on year in order to provide the best experience for us all.

Tickets can be purchased via our website – www.wottonhockeyclub.org;
• Please log in using your normal details, click on ‘Payments’,
• scroll down to ‘Other Products’,
• click on ‘Dinner Dance ticket 2017’ and select your menu options – easy!
If buying more than one ticket, please ensure that partner or guest names are included where indicated – this helps with the table plan! Also, if under 18 this prompts you to insert the name of your ‘responsible adult’ (see below) The event has been an oversubscribed sell out in the past and though we have had greater capacity at our recent venues we are still expecting demand to be very high so, getting your tickets early is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.

The dinner is open to all players from senior XIs and their partners (incl players u18 who regularly play senior XI hockey), parents, supporters, umpires, volunteers and other guests of players and the committee.
Note there will be SEPARATE Junior & Badgers/Vixens end of season events this year, details will follow in due course…

Ticket prices are £35 each and the format of the evening is as follows:
• 1900: Drinks reception/bar opens
• 1930: Three course dinner in the Grand Hall with private cash bar, followed by speeches, the presentation of player awards and disco in the same area.
• The cash bar is available until 0030 and the event finishes at 0100.

Dress code for the event is 'Black Tie'.

Please also note that at the dinner:
(a) Any players under 16 who regularly play for a Senior XI must be accompanied by a parent who will be responsible for them.
(b) Players aged 16-18 who regularly play for a Senior XI must be accompanied by a parent OR nominated adult (e.g. team-mate) who will be responsible for them.

This will be a ticketless event again, so your gocardless receipt via Pitchero is confirmation of your attendance.

Wine by the bottle can be purchased at the cash bar, adjacent to the Grand Hall. Prices have been kept as low as possible and only cover the costs of the evening.

*** Please can last year’s winners arrange to return their trophies as soon as possible***

Look forward to seeing you there,

Stuart Emms, Chairman
