Updated Kit Offering…
After considering feedback from members, the committee recently agreed to additional items of club branded kit being made available.
Taking into account member’s preferences to try and buy ‘in store’ AND to support local businesses; our club clothing range will continue to be supplied by Goose and Gander on Market Street, Wotton (under the Tolsey Clock). The outerwear range has been designed so there is a non-branded option and a premium option (Canterbury – good enough for the British Lions, good enough for us!) but also that the items complement each other, and the existing kit, so you can mix and match. More items may be added later.

New items include:
• Canterbury zip up showerproof jackets
• ¾ zip non-branded training tops with fleece lining
• Canterbury trackies
• Canterbury Mens playing shorts
• Non branded trackies
• Red away socks (see note below)

The majority of the above are available in senior and junior sizes, include an embroidered club crest, your initials and ‘Wotton under Edge Hockey Club’ printed on reverse.

These items compliment the current range of club clothing which includes:
• Hoodies,
• Baselayers (both Canterbury & non-branded)
• Canterbury royal blue playing socks,
• Bobble hats,
• Womens playing skorts
• Training shirts
which are all still available.

All of the above items will be ‘stock’ so should have short lead times (2 weeks max) BUT if you do want guaranteed order by Xmas, please order by 26 NOVEMBER.
Only the senior Canterbury playing shirts (which are made to order) have a longer lead time.

Other reminders

1. There is a cross country meet at KLB this Saturday morning (5 Nov), and therefore there will be NO hockey parking at KLB/Sport Wotton in the AM. Please park near the pitch via the New Rd gate. This will primarily effect L1/L3 games in the morning BUT other teams playing away who were intending to meet at KLB should also note the change. Afternoon matches are unaffected.

2. Don’t forget the QUIZ NIGHT at the Town Hall on the evening of 12 Nov. Teams of 5, £10 per team. BYO at the Town Hall but there will be a raffle and the dessert bar. Details on the news section of website and via FB event page! Social reps in each XI will also be able to help you.

3. The usual weekend preview will follow on Friday (via social media and news section on website) but do remember that we will be running one of our home junior tournaments on Sunday at Wotton Community PARC (AKA our home pitch) so if you are free, do come down and support our ‘next generation’! The now legendary refreshment stand will be in operation with plenty of home made bakes, hot drinks and squash (0900-1600)
